This database maps laws from around the world relating to women’s status in the family and society. Launched in July 2018, it is under development by the Global Women's Leadership Project (GWLP) at the University of Pennsylvania Law School, in association with UN Women. In its first phase the database covers the laws of African, European and Latin American jurisdictions as well as Israel, India and Pakistan; work is continuing on Middle Eastern jurisdictions.

About fifty acts and numerous regulations are available, in pdf format, with amendments; topics include employment, equality, health, housing, welfare and social security. A disclaimer warns that the translations are provided for information only.

Government announcement, speeches and other official documents can be viewed and downloaded on the “Resources” page. The link marked “Archive” links to the old version of the Saint Lucia government website which, although no longer updated, is still live, and provides links to the constitution and selected codes and regulations, which are not yet available on the new website.
NATLEX is a database of information about national labour, social security and related human rights laws in over 190 countries and more than 160 territories. It is maintained by the International Labour Organization's International Labour Standards Department. The records which make up the database are written by legal professionals; they consist of abstracts and bibliographic details, with links to the full text of the laws where possible. NATLEX can be browsed by country or by subject and has a sophisticated search facility.
The International Labour Organization (ILO) is a specialised agency of the United Nations which seeks to promote employment rights, human rights and social justice. The website gives details of the ILO's history, structure and work programmes. It provides numerous free databases of labour-related information and documentation, including national labour laws, international labour standards, treaty information, statistics and a bibliography compiled by the ILO Library.
A BAILII database containing decisions of the Northern Ireland Social Security and Child Support Commissioners'. These are members of the judiciary who hear appeals on points of law relating to benefits and child support from Appeal Tribunals under the Social Security and Child Support legislation.The database contains decisions from 1988 onwards to date. Cases are arranged chronologically by year and using the Commissioners' own numbering system which is explained on the site. The system also offers a comprehensive search facility and Recent Cases listing.
A four volume series covering social security systems in Europe, Asia and the Pacific, Africa, and the Americas produced by the U.S. Social Security Administration (SSA) and the International Social Security Association (ISSA) and made freely available on the SSA Website. This reference work provides summaries of social security systems in individual countries which can be viewed in HTML or PDF. The entire report can be downloaded in PDF. Broad headings include old age, disability and survivors, sickness and maternity, work injury, unemployment and family allowances.
Website of the Social Security Advisory Committee (SSAC) a UK advisory body on social security issues. The role of SSAC is to provide advice on social security matters and to report on social security regulations referred to it by the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions and the Department of Social Development in Northern Ireland. The site provides background and historical information about the Committee and profiles of its members. There are details of consultations currently being carried out which are made available as PDF documents.

The role of the IRS is to provide an independent review of discretionary Social Fund decisions made in Jobcentre Plus offices. The site has information on the IRS's organisational structure and business objectives and guidance on applying to the Social Fund for a community care grant, crisis loan or budgeting loan. There is also advice on applying for a review of decisions made covering community care grants, crisis loans, budgeting loans and overpayment decisions.

The database carries opinions from 1997 to 2008 as supplied by the Social Security and Child Commission. Decisions are listed alphabetically by Commissioner's File number. BAILII is a collaborative service aiming to provide public access to primary legal materials for the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland.
