Law Society of Saskatchewan

The Law Society of Saskatchewan's website provides several free resources relating to the law of the Province and the regulation of its legal profession. There is a database of full-text judgments from the Saskatchewan Court of Appeal, Court of Queen's Bench and Provincial Court (1994 - ) and a database of article titles and abstracts from recent Canadian journals.

Canadian Legal Information Institute

The Canadian Legal Information Institute (CanLII) provides free access to a comprehensive range of Canadian primary and secondary legal materials, including federal and provincial laws as amended and as passed, case law, books, articles and reports. The service was created jointly by the Federation of Law Societies of Canada and LexUM, the computer law research team at the University of Montreal. The site is available in both English and French, the official languages of Canada.

Law Reform Commission of Saskatchewan

Website of the Law Reform Commission of Saskatchewan in Canada. This is a statutory body set up to review the law in Saskatchewan covering areas proposed by the Minister of Justice, the legal community and the public. Subjects currently under review include democracy, aboriginal peoples, human rights, families and children, vulnerable adults, communities and the environment, administrative law and procedure and technical legal issues. The site has copies of the Commission's publications including consultation papers and proposals for changes in legislation or new laws.

Provincial Court of Saskatchewan decisions

A CanLII database including most decisions made by the Provincial Court of Saskatchewan from 1998 onwards with selected decisions from 1994 onwards. Decisions rendered in family matters involving minors are excluded. The data is supplied by Law Society of Saskatchewan Library services website. The collection can be searched or browsed by date. There is also a list of recent decisions and practice rules of the Court. CanLII, the Canadian Legal Information Institute, is a key service providing free access to Canadian primary legal materials.

Saskatchewan Court of King's Bench Decisions

A CanLII database including most decisions made by the Court of King's Bench of Saskatchewan from 1993 onwards and selected decisions from 1984 onwards. Decisions rendered in family matters involving minors are withheld. The data is supplied by Law Society of Saskatchewan Library services website. Decisions can be searched or browsed by date. A list of recent cases and practice rules of the Court are also supplied. CanLII, the Canadian Legal Information Institute, is a key service providing free access to Canadian primary legal materials.

A CanLII database including decisions made by the Court of Appeal of Saskatchewan from 1994 onwards. Selected decisions from 1984 onwards are also provided. The data is supplied by Law Society of Saskatchewan Library services website. Decisions can be searched or browsed by date. CanLII, the Canadian Legal Information Institute, is a key service providing free access to Canadian primary legal materials. The service has been designed by LexUM at the University of Montreal (using software developed by AustLII) on the initiative of the Federation of Law Societies of Canada.

Full text legislation of Saskatchewan made freely available online by the Government of Saskatchewan. The legislation can be searched using simple and advanced search options or browsed by subject or legislation type including acts, regulations, court rules and historical legislation. Some of these options, such as loose leaf releases, are not available online. Full text materials are downloadable in PDF.
