Information Law and Policy Centre

Website of the Information Law and Policy Centre (ILPC) which is based at the Institute of Advanced Legal Studies (part of the School of Advanced Study, University of London). The aim of the ILPC is to "undertake, promote, and facilitate, cross-disciplinary scholarship and research in the area of information law and policy, domestically and internationally". The Centre produces reports, articles and regular newsletters which are available on the site.

Institute of Baltic Studies

Website of the Institute of Baltic Studies (IBS), an independent, non-profit research and development centre aiming to assist the development of public policy in the Baltic region through socio-economic analysis. The site is mostly available in both Estonian and English, although some sections are in Estonian only. Contains information on the various projects undertaken by the institute in their three key areas of science technology and innovation, social cohesion, and policy analysis as well as articles and case studies in these areas written for them by a variety of sources.

International Investment Arbitration and Public Policy

Website and research tool offering open access to research and data on international investment arbitration. The service includes: a database of known arbitration cases decided under investment treaties; access to investment arbitration cases by policy area (such as agriculture, environmental protection, taxation); a compilation of the appointment records of individual arbitrators who have sat in investment arbitration cases; and other information and commentary on the system of international investment arbitration.

Stanford Law and Policy Review

The Stanford Law and Policy Review is an academic journal concentrating on issues of law and public policy published twice a year by the law students of Stanford Law School. Each issue contains a Symposium of 6 to 12 articles on one specific topic along with additional feature articles on different topics. Themes of past issues have included law and technology, law of democracy, gun control and same sex marriage. Titles, subscription information and details of the Editorial Board are provided on the site.

Alliance for Justice

Website of Alliance for Justice (AFJ) an umbrella group for United States organisations working to "advance the cause of justice for all Americans, strengthen the public interest community's ability to influence public policy, and foster the next generation of advocates." The AFJ raises public awareness on policy issues by publishing policy alerts, reports and fact sheets provided on the site along with detailed profiles of judges nominated to the federal bench.

UK Constitutional Reform

Online guide providing background information and links to organisations and legal materials relating to constitutional reform in the United Kingdom. The guide is written by Lesley Dingle, International & Foreign Law Librarian at the Squire Law Library, University of Cambridge, and Bradley Miller, a reference librarian at the Squire Law Library. The guide was published on the features page of LLRX.com in June 2004. It gives an introduction to the present constitution and an outline of key legislation which has affected the constitution.

Kansas Journal of Law and Public Policy

The Kansas Journal of Law and Public Policy is published irregularly by students at the University of Kansas School of Law. The aim of the journal is to explore "how the law shapes public policy choices and how public policy choices shape the law". The Journal contains scholarly articles, and recent issues are made freely available in PDF format. Recent subjects covered include safety in US schools, government lawyer ethics and information disclosures by government. The site also provides editor details and subscription information.

Center on Children, Families, and the Law (The)

The Center on Children, Families, and the Law is located at the University of Nebraska - Lincoln. It conducts research into public policy and the law relating to children and families. Selected publications are available on the website, including Nebraska Revised Statutes: Selected Provisions Pertaining to Child Welfare, Juvenile Justice, and Vulnerable Adults (known as the "Red Book").
