Chatham House

Chatham House was founded in 1920 (as the Royal Institute of International Affairs) to stimulate debate and research on important developments in the international arena. Its website contains details about the Institute, its members, publications and recent events. Some documents can be viewed online, others are offered to subscribers only. All aspects of British foreign policy and international security are covered, including US foreign policy and the 'war against terrorism' and the Middle-East conflict.

Robert Schuman Centre for Advanced Studies

The Robert Schuman Centre for Advanced Studies, Italy, is part of the European University Institute, and carries out research in Law, Economics, History and Civilisation, and Social and Political Sciences, focusing on European issues, in particular European integration. Its website gives details of current research activities and contains a number of publications and papers, in French and English, as well as news updates.

Yearbook of the United Nations

Annual record of the work of the United Nations, covering all areas of its responsibility. Each Yearbook lists all major General Assembly, Security Council and Economic and Social Council resolutions and has details of major UN decisions. They also list of key personnel and appointments and provide information about budgets and key reforms. All volumes of the Yearbook are available, 1946 onwards, with a search facility. 'Pre-press' drafts of forthcoming yearbooks are also provided.
