Investment laws navigator

A current, searchable database of national investment laws, created by the UN Investment Policy Hub. Includes an interactive map, which allows for visual, geographical data on all countries, distinguishing between those with and without investment laws. Selecting a country with investment laws will narrow the search to laws relating to that country. Also includes a methodology section, in which information about the formatting of the database is detailed. Filters are also available to narrow search results to show investment laws, FDI screening laws, or investment policies.

WTO iLibrary

This website is the online research depository of the World Trade Organisation (WTO) providing access to WTO reports and key research material on global trade. The library can be searched by theme such as dispute settlement, environment and intellectual property etc., by country or by material type eg. books, papers, statistics or dispute settlement reports. All content can be searched by keyword or by using an advanced search option. Publications are made freely available to read online but a subscription is required to download material.

Society of International Economic Law

The Society of International Economic Law (SIEL) is a global association for academics working in the field of international economic law, as well as for practitioners and officials with an interest in the academic side of the subject. Its website describes the aims and activities of the Society. It has details of the Society’s conferences, with links to the conference papers on SSRN. There is also a News page, and Resources page which lists academic programmes on international economic law at various universities around the world.

ASIL Electronic Resource Guide: International Economic Law

International economic law chapter of the ASIL Guide to Electronic Resources for International Law. The chapter, written and compiled by Jean M. Wenger who is Government Documents and Foreign and International Law Librarian at Cook County Law Library, provides an overview and commentary supported by links to websites. It identifies resources related to: international trade, international financial law, regional economic integration, international development law, private international law, international business regulation and intellectual property law.

Journal of International Economic Law

Web pages of the Journal of International Economic Law, which is published by Oxford University Press (OUP). The site provides free access to contents and abstracts and subscribers can read full-text articles dating from 1998 onwards. The journal is aimed at scholars, government officials and legal professionals and includes editorials, articles, book reviews and notes. The journal looks at legal issues relating to international economic activity.

McGill Journal of Sustainable Development Law

The McGill Journal of Sustainable Development Law (formerly McGill International Journal of Sustainable Development Law and Policy) is an academic journal run by law students at McGill University in Canada. The website provides a selection of articles from the current and previous issues of the journal, together with a blog and a podcast. Links to related websites are also available, together with subscription and submission information.
