The Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (DBEIS) is a UK government department formed in 2016 by a merger of the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills with the Department for Energy and Climate Change. The DBEIS is the government department responsible for business, industry, science, innovation, energy and climate change. Its webiste provides press releases, policy papers, statements, statistics and other information on these subjects.

Chatham House

Chatham House was founded in 1920 (as the Royal Institute of International Affairs) to stimulate debate and research on important developments in the international arena. Its website contains details about the Institute, its members, publications and recent events. Some documents can be viewed online, others are offered to subscribers only. All aspects of British foreign policy and international security are covered, including US foreign policy and the 'war against terrorism' and the Middle-East conflict.

Nuclear Law Bulletin

The Nuclear Law Bulletin, published by the Nuclear Energy Agency (NEA), is an international journal covering developments in nuclear law. The Bulletin is published twice yearly in English and French and the online version forms part of the NEA's site. The Bulletin comprises a range of information relating to nuclear law including articles, case law, and national and international legislative and regulatory activities for "almost 60 countries around the world". Apart from the three most recent issues the Bulletin can be viewed in full text on the site in English and French.

This section of the EU's Europa website gives a concise overview of EU energy policy and acts as a gateway to relevant information and documentation on EU websites. There are links to the European Commission's Energy and Transport Directorate-General, the European Parliament's Committee on Industry, Research and Energy, the Transport, Telecommunications and Energy Council's press releases and other web pages of interest. Legislation, statistics, press releases, the General Report on the Activities of the European Union and other publications are available.

Webpages of the European Commission's Directorate-General for Energy, providing information relating to energy policy in the European Union (EU), including statistics and reports, press releases and the Directorate-General's newsletter, "Energy and Transport in Europe Digest" (2002 to date). Details of priced publications are also given. There are links to policy consultations and calls for tenders. Other sections include information and legislation relating to specific energy sources such as coal, oil and gas.

Council of European Energy Regulators

Website of the Council of European Energy Regulators (CEER). The site has organisational information and details of members. Publications including papers, newsletters and factsheets are made freely available on the site. National reports include information from the national regulatory authorities from each EU country. Information on the preparation of framework guidelines for gas and electricity is also given.

Institute for Energy Law

Website of the Institute for Energy Law (IEL) a division of the Center for American and International Law. The IEL is aimed at lawyers and professionals in all areas of domestic and international energy law and is "committed to continuing education for professionals in the energy industry". The site includes information about how to join, a list of current members, and details of its Advisory Board and its activities.

Energy Bar Association

Website of the Energy Bar Association (EBA) an international not-for profit association of energy law practitioners and professionals. The EBA's mission is to "enhance the professional competence of those who practice and administer energy law". The site includes membership information, details of committees and information about the EBA's Energy Law Journal. There are downloadable copies of the EBA Update newsletter, a list of opinions of the federal courts relating to energy law issues for the previous year and a page of related web links.

Energy Law Journal

The Energy Law Journal is a legal journal published by the Energy Bar Association (EBA), an international not-for profit association of energy law practitioners and professionals. The journal aims to provide a forum for debate and research into all aspects of energy law and the energy industries. Contributors to the journal include practitioners, academics and federal judges. The journal is published twice a year and can be viewed online back to 1980. There are articles, committee reports, book reviews and case commentaries.
