Karlsruher Virtuelle Katalog (KVK)

Meta-search engine for library catalogues from all over the world, collections of digitised material and online bookshops; includes the global library catalogue, WorldCat. For the most part it finds catalogue records only, but it also links to full-text material from the Hathi Trust, Google, the Directory of Open Access Journals and so on. Users can select which catalogues, digital resources and bookshops they wish to search, then search for books, serials or other material by key word, title, author, et cetera.

United Nations iLibrary

Digital repository for UN sale publications, launched in February 2016. The publications can be read for free online, but a subscription is required to download pdf versions. The collection consists of books, studies, reports and other sale publications; for resolutions, meeting records and other official documents, see the UN Official Document System. A wide range of subjects is covered; law titles include the Law of the Sea Bulletin and the Yearbook of the International Law Commission (recent issues only; older issues are available free on other UN websites).

Journal of Criminal Justice and Popular Culture

The Journal of Criminal Justice and Popular Culture was created to serve the criminal justice/criminological community by publishing reviews of all types of popular culture artifacts and original essays pertaining to the intersection of popular culture and criminal justice. Reviews were intended to explore the depiction of criminal justice issues in the various forms of popular culture, providing criminal justice educators with suggestions for utilising these mediums as well as how these tools may be gainfully employed in research efforts.

Copyright Renewal Database

Website providing access to Stanford University's Copyright Renewal Database containing copyright renewal records for books published in the United States between 1923 and 1963. During this period renewal registration was required to prevent the expiration of copyright. The records are held by the US Copyright Office and have been included in this searchable, browsable database. Records can be browsed by year, title or author and searched by keyword or using an advanced search option.
