Also included are recent Vatican press releases and information on the legal system. There is a biography of the current pope, a diary of his activities and the full-text of recent papal messages, encyclicals and homilies.
Text of an agreement signed between the Holy See and the State of Israel, resulting from the work of the Bilateral Permanent Working Commission set up in July, 1992. The aim of the agreement is to provide basis for relations between the two states. The web page is hosted by the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) and can be viewed in English and Spanish.
Guide to researching the law of the Vatican City State (VCS) written by librarians Stephen Young and Alison Shea and updated by Italian lawyer Angelo Coccìa in 2024. The guide was published on the Globalex website which is run by the Hauser Global Law School Program at New York University. The authors give an introduction to the Vatican City State and its legal system and outline the sources of law, including the Lateran Treaty with the Republic of Italy, which gave independence to the VCS.
