Official website of the Judiciary of the Seychelles, covering a range of different courts, including the Supreme Court, the Appeal Court and the Constitutional Court, as well as employment and family law. The site provides information about the structure and organisation of the court system in the Seychelles and about the individual courts.

African Legal Information Institute

The African Legal Information Institute (AfricanLII) makes available treaties, cases, resolutions, decisions, reports and other publications of African regional organisations. It also provides access to legislation and cases from 16 African countries, via its search facility. The home page has links to regional and national African websites. AfricanLII is a project of the Democratic Governance and Rights Unit (DGRU) at the University of Cape Town law faculty.

National Assembly of the Seychelles

Official website of the Seychelles National Assembly- the legislative branch of the Seychelles government. The site provides information on National Assembly members and committees and on the work of the organisation. A full text copy of the Constitution can be downloaded and there are other important documents provided including order papers, standing orders and the official Journal.

Finding the Law in Seychelles

Online guide to Seychelles legal information written by Jessica Kerr who is a New Zealand lawyer working for the Central Bank. She also sits on the Board of the Seychelles Legal Information Institute (SeyLII). The author provides information on the constitution, branches of government, the judiciary and the legal profession in Seychelles. There is also guidance to finding legislation, case law and secondary sources including links to legal materials online.

Seychelles Legal Information Institute

Website of the Seychelles Legal Information Institute (SeyLII). This site provides free access to Seychelles consolidated legislation, statutory instruments, acts as enacted and judgements of the Seychelles Constitutional and Supreme courts. Court documents- practice directions and causelists- are provided along with an eGrey Book which includes the most frequently cited legislation in Seychelles. SeyLII is a project of the Seychelles Judiciary with support from the African Legal Information Institute (AfricanLII).

Database of the Constitutions of Sub-Saharan Africa

Database of constitutions and constitutional documents of African countries, provided by the University of Konstanz. The contents can be searched or browsed by jurisdiction. The database was been compiled by Katharina Holzinger, Florian Kern and Daniela Kromrey of the Department of Politics and Public Administration. Documents are provided in the original language; some historical versions are available as well as recent texts. Most can be downloaded and/or accessed via links to other websites.

Seychelles Government

Portal giving access to basic information about the President, Vice President and government departments. There are also links to the texts of the Budget and State of the Nation addresses of 2011. This is part of larger government portal giving general information on a selection of topics eg. business, culture, education and tourism. The site may still be under construction as the links to government departments are not yet active.
