Belize judiciary

The official website of the Belize judiciary. The website provides judgments from the Court of Appeal (1977 – present) and Supreme Court (1972 – present). Other court information is made available, including court forms, dates of court sittings and rules of court. The site also has links to the Constitution and to ‘Laws of Belize’ (revised statutes, 2000 ed.). The website is available in English, French, German, amongst other languages.

The site offers search facilities to trace internet resources for Belize including materials relating to Government, Courts, Legislation, Elections, Foreign Investment and Intellectual Property. A stored search will automatically search for materials relating to Belize on all of WorldLII. WorldLII was created and is being developed by the Australasian Legal Information Institute (AustLII).

CariLaw- Caribbean Law Project

CariLaw is a subscription database of Commonwealth Caribbean primary legal materials, produced by the Faculty of Law at the University of the West Indies in partnership with legal technology company vLex. The database provides access to legislation, treaties and case law from the Privy Council, Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court. Judgements on the site include those decided by the Judicial Committee of the Privy Council and the Supreme or High courts of the various Caribbean jurisdictions.
