Ley Chile

Chilean legislation website, provided free of charge by the Library of the Chilean National Congress. Includes the current and historical Chilean codes and constitutions, treaties ratified by Chile and a collection of important individual laws arranged by subject. Simple and advanced search facilities are available, or the site can be browsed by collection (Constitutions, Codes, Treaties, or Laws by Subject). The entire site is in Spanish.  

Congreso Nacional Chile

Official site of the Congreso Nacionale Chile (Chilean National Parliament). The Parliament comprises the ‘Cámara de Senadores’ Senate (Upper House) and the ‘Cámara de Diputados’ (Chamber of Deputies). The section of the site relating to the Upper House provides background information about the structure of the Senate and about individual committees covering different subject areas and the status of bills currently in progress. Full-text access is also available to the Fundamental law of the Chilean Parliament (Ley Orgánica) and to the Chilean Constitution.

Biblioteca del Congreso Nacional de Chile

Library of the Congreso Nacionale Chile (Chilean National Parliament). Provides a service not only to members of Parliament but also to the wider community. Acts as an official repository for Parliamentary archives. The website provides full-text access, mainly in PDF format, to laws, codes and current and historic versions of the Constitution. Public users can search the catalogue and also browse or download documents in PDF and podcasts in MP3 format, which are designed to inform them about aspects of parliamentary procedure, including the creation of laws and popular legal issues.

Tribunal Constitucional Chile

Official website of the Constitutional Court of Chile, whose role is to review the constitutionality of laws. Provides background information about the court and details of its composition, court rules, a link to the Constitution, cause lists and minutes of proceedings. The 'Sentencias' section has judgments delivered in the last 30 days or so and the 'Informes en Derecho' section provides judgments back to 1969. The site is in Spanish only.
