Islands covered by the service include American Samoa, the Cook Islands, Fiji, Guam, Kiribati, the Marshall Islands, Micronesia, Nauru, Niue, the Northern Mariana Islands, Palau, Papua New Guinea, Pitcairn, Samoa, the Solomon Islands, Tokelau, Tonga, Tuvalu, and Vanuatu. A site search form allows specific database selection and query with boolean functionality.

Court rules and practice directions can also be found here. The site doesn't provide decisions of the courts but has a page of links to Paclii and other sites where decisions of the Supreme Court can be downloaded.

The interface is available in English or French. Under "Other Resources", there is background information about each country and details of treaty-making procedures, along with a glossary of treaty terms. PacLII is a joint initiative involving the University of the South Pacific and the Australasian Legal Information Institute (AustLII).
Pacific Legal Network (PLN) is a group of law firms based in Australia and throughout the Pacific region who have expertise in the Pacific Islands jurisdictions. The website has information about the legal services provided by PLN and two newsletters are made freely available on the site. BankNote covers anti-money laundering issues and PLN News provides news and comment on developments in the law of the Pacific region. There are also legal updates given providing information on new legislation in the region.
