The Constitution is provided in PDF and includes chapters on fundamental principles and human rights and the role of the executive, legislature and judiciary.

Malawi Legal Information Institute

The Malawi Legal Information Institute (MalawiLII) provides free online access to Malawian legal information. In particular MalawiLII offers full-text versions of legislation and judgments from the Malawi Supreme Court of Appeal, The High Court and the Industrial Relations Court. MalawiLII is a member of the Free Access to Law Movement (FALM), an international voluntary association of legal information institutes committed to providing free access to law.

The Commonwealth Legal Information Institute (CommonLII) is a cooperative legal information initiative led by AustLII (the Australasian Legal Information Institute) providing access to freely available legal materials from all Commonwealth countries. CommonLII contains over 400 databases providing case law, legislation, treaties and law reform reports from more than 50 Commonwealth and common law countries and territories.

This is the official website of the Government of Malawi. It provides a gateway to government news and information on the various government departments. There is information on the Malawi National Assembly and its members along with links to recent government publications and statistics.

Malawi: legal system and research resources

Guide to the legal system and materials of Malawi, by Redson Kapindu of the South African Institute for Advanced Constitutional, Public, Human Rights and International Law (SAIFAC). Last updated in 2014, the guide is on New York University's Globalex website. It gives background information about the history and political system in Malawi and explains the political and legal systems. The author also covers the sources of law including the Constitution, legislation, common law, customary law, religious law and international law.
