A guide to web-based resources, listing and describing internet sites providing legislation, law reports and government information for the Pacific Island region. The guide has been written by Ruth Bird who is Bodleian Law Librarian at the University of Oxford, Dianne Thompson who is a Librarian at the Legal Services Commission of South Australia and Anna Matich of the ASIC in Brisbane. The guide was published in the features section of LLRX.com in July 2008 and updates previous versions published in October 2000, April 2002 and December 2005.

Part of WorldLII's Countries service containing links to Internet resources for French Polynesia. A full range of browse and search features are available on the site. Browse sections include links covering Government, Parliament and legislation sites. A stored search will automatically search for materials relating to French Polynesia on all of the WorldLII catalog or databases. This section of WorldLII was developed from work initiated by Australasian Legal Information Institute (AustLII).

Pacific Islands Treaty Series

A Pacific Islands Legal Information Institute (PacLII) resource containing bilateral and multilateral treaties affecting Pacific Island countries and last updated in 2009. The interface is available in English or French. Under "Other Resources", there is background information about each country and details of treaty-making procedures, along with a glossary of treaty terms. PacLII is a joint initiative involving the University of the South Pacific and the Australasian Legal Information Institute (AustLII).

Presidence du Gouvernement de la Polynesie Française

This is the official website of the government of French Polynesia. It provides access to basic information about the history of government in the region and its colonial and current administrative relationship with France. Also provided are basic descriptions of the work of the main government departments, links to information about the President and some news on recent government projects. Information is offered in French only.
