Tahrir documents

Tahrir Documents provides a gateway to activist papers from the 2011 Egyptian uprising and its aftermath, deriving from protests and unrest in Cairo’s Tahrir Square. Scans of the original documents are published alongside complete English translations. There are copies of revolutionary newspapers, documents concerning the constitution, the military, politics and workers’ rights, as well as background information on the previous Egyptian regime. There are also other cultural documents, including poetry and fiction, and both Muslim and Christian religious information.

Constitution of Egypt

Electronic copy of the 2014 Constitution of Egypt, amended up to 2019, and made freely available online by the Comparative Constitutions Project at the University of Texas at Austin. The Constitution can be viewed in PDF or HTML formats and includes chapters on the legal system, the rule of law and public rights, freedoms and duties.

Cairo Regional Centre for International Commercial Arbitration

Website of the Cairo Regional Centre for International Commercial Arbitration (CRCICA), a non profit organisation providing services to resolve and prevent regional and international trade and investment disputes, with a particular emphasis on the economic development of African and Asian countries. The site carries information about CRCICA history, objectives and services, alongside an explanation of the rules governing the composition of its panel of arbitrators and experts.
